About Me

A little bit about my background and how I found my niche in the intersection of marketing and communications, AI, and community development.

  • I approach problems by looking at the bigger picture—how people, places, technology, and systems interact. My background in computer science, journalism, design, and marketing has taught me that the best solutions rarely come from a single discipline. They emerge when we connect ideas across fields and view challenges from multiple perspectives.

I believe meaningful innovation is human-centered. It requires balancing data with empathy, strategy with creativity, and long-term vision with practical execution. My goal is to create work that not only solves problems but also strengthens communities, fosters connection, and improves how people experience the world around them.

  • Curiosity is the lens through which I view everything. I'm fascinated by the way cities bring people together. My interests span technology, storytelling, design, and urban planning, but they all stem from the same question:

How can we create places and systems that improve everyday life?

I believe innovation is most meaningful when it strengthens communities, supports human connection, and helps people feel more connected to the places they call home.

  • I hold a double major in Computer Science and Journalism, along with a minor in Graphic Design, all earned through my Bachelor of Science degree from Creighton University.

From 2013 to 2021, I ran a personal blog focused on fashion, travel, and lifestyle, where I gained invaluable experience managing brand collaborations, content creation, and website development. I continuously improved my content, design, and website as I honed my understanding of effective user experience and the power of visual storytelling.

I spent almost four years as the Digital Marketing Manager for the Cherry Creek North BID, where I played a key role in transforming the organizations daily processes and digital presence.

During my time on the social media channels, Cherry Creek North’s Instagram following grew from 7K to 15K in less than a year. I also improved the newsletter KPIs, doubling open rates from the industry standard of 20% to a 40% average.

Currently, I serve as a Brand Strategist at UCHealth, Colorado’s largest healthcare system. Working in the healthcare industry provides me with invaluable experience in developing strategies for a complex, highly technical field. I have exposure to the intricacies of large-scale organizational goals while collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.

Over time, I became increasingly interested in the systems behind those experiences—from workflow design and AI adoption to transportation networks and community development.

Today, I work at the intersection of communications, operations, and emerging technology, helping organizations improve both how they work and how they engage their audiences.
